Perfect People
A wallflower:
Quiet and unobtrusive,
Uncontroversial,
Possibly unknown.
Makes no impression,
Makes no friends,
Forever alone.
A barnacle:
Follower and quiet,
Repeats and supports,
Known to few.
Uncomfortable and clingy,
Duplicated occasional friends,
Forever forgotten.
A Mimosa pudica:
Uncertain and cautious,
Opines and retreats,
Known to few.
Venturous yet sensitive,
Takes feedback poorly,
Forever censuring.
A clown:
Boisterous and talkative,
Ceaselessly trying to impress,
Not unknowable.
Constantly extroverted,
Pushing uncomfortable barriers,
Forever awkward.
A person:
Opinionated without overwhelming,
Listening and open-minded,
Respected.
Sensitive to others,
Comfortable with themselves,
Forever elusive.
