In late 2017, I took part in a brief writing workshop. At the beginning, we were shown a photo of a spider in a web; I’m not going to show you such an image, but these search results will suffice if you’re suitably masochistic. We were told to free-write based on the image for a minute or two, and afterwards the instructor asked for volunteers to read. My table-mates found mine sufficiently entertaining that they voluntold me to speak up. Maybe you’ll chuckle, too:
